To be successful in this position, you should have experience installing A/V systems, a working knowledge of low voltage wiring, experience with power tools, knowledge of programming and control systems, and basic construction skills. Having installation certifications for A/V and security systems is a plus. 

As an installation specialist for Spectrum Sight & Sound, your responsibilities include: 

• The ability to work within a team and exhibit great communication skills.
• Developing good relations with our clients, vendors, and co-workers
• Transporting equipment to the location for installation. 
• Installing audio/video components, wiring, cameras, and much more. 
• An attention to detail and a respect for the space you are working in. 

Requirements include but not limited to: 

• Experience in audio/video technology – Certifications and Degrees in the field are a plus. 
• Great troubleshooting skills 
• Computer knowledge – networking setup. 
• Able to sit or stand for long periods, use shovels on occasion, can navigate attic and crawlspaces.
• Lift alone and team-lift equipment. 
• Having a good driving record, pass a background check and pass drug testing.
